Using advanced scanning, photo restoration and colorization technologies, we curate and composite visual art. We interlink legacies and preserve family history. With artistic vision, we ultimately create something uniquely yours.
This photo was taken in the early 1970's in Michigan when winters were snowy and cold.
I liked it better in a different orientation with only the 3 children. The version on the right was transformed into a cartoon style.
Merry Christmas from the 1970's!
The original photo was in pretty rough shape. It was
unprotected in a pile of pictures, folded and scratched. The first step was photo restoration and colorization.
The tree in the back was pretty sparse with little detail retained. I used a similar tree they had in a different photo
to fill in the background.
This was taken in the late 1950's; over 60 years ago. I am pleased that I was able to preserve this piece of family history legacy.
It was an honor and so much FUN to learn about the lives of
Anna Maria Mugnolo and Antonio Turco. They were a couple
who emigrated from Naples, Italy to the United States and
created a legacy.
Their portraits were scanned, restored, enlarged and beautifully framed. They now adorn the walls of a wine bar called Ciao Vino, in Hamilton, Ohio, owned and operated by their great-granddaughter, Jana Emmons.
The lower piece is a compilation of images and records from their past. The ship the arrived on and the ship's manifest, the home they lived in, memories of the lives they lived.
These photos are especially meaningful to me. I composited an image I took of the Sedona, Arizona night sky (universe without) with an ultrasound taken of my daughter (universe within.)
Photos can convey an emotion, a vibe.
They are interesting, pure and simple. You don't need to know the person pictured or specific details to appreciate the aesthetics.
A bride and her wedding party pose outside of a home
in Detroit, Michigan.
The small, dirty black and white photo was digitally
restored and colorized. After researching the family history, I located the marriage license to add depth and interest.
Collages are great for many occasions.
This image linked five generations of family history and was given as holiday gifts as photos and canvas.
